ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

• To create laser designs of whiskers, handsand, damage pattern, etc. to apply on denim and piece dyed garments, which meet Kontoor requirement within time and quality.
  
• Technical /Professional Individual Contributor.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Include but not limited to

• Create dry process designs to apply on garments based on buyers’ input.
  
• Assist Washing Supervisor in managing the laser machine library.
• Work closely with design and merchandise team in the US with the aim to maintain high quality of denim garment.
  
• Develop the new design/technique & promote to related brands.
• Align with souring team to promote proper products be applied with laser technique.
• Collect the marketing trend on laser technology direction & share with related parties.
  
• Support to virtual sampling project.
• Operate the laser machine base on the design art.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of the laser machine. Keep it in good condition. Follow up with the consumer parts and repair.
• Proactively identify potential risks / issues/ delays and bring to the attention of Fabric Manager & related parties.
  
• Follow up lab testing result.
• Work with sourcing washing technician to support the bulk issue.
• Train up internal assigned people to operate the machine for more flexibility.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Include but not limited to

• Minimum Relevant Experience 4 years, textile background is required.
• Good English writing and oral skills.
  
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate/ added advantage for textile Education.
• Clothing, Fashion, Textile, Quality Assurance, Jeanologia or VAV working exp

SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS

Include but not limited to

• Working Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.
• Basic knowledge of Denim Washing and Dry process.
• Ability to work on Jean logia or VAV laser machines.
• Good communication skills.
• Experienced with MS. Word, Excel, etc.
