The appointee will be supporting the operation of the nursing laboratories of the Division of Nursing Education. Major duties include: a) providing assistance to teaching staff in supervising nursing students during the laboratory session; b) developing technical proficiency with all aspects of the operation, maintenance, support, trouble-shooting, and repair for all equipment; c) assisting in the operation of the simulators/ manikins and logistics arrangement in training sessions when required; d) preparing teaching materials, set-up and after-care of the facilities, with assistance of worker(s), as appropriate, for teaching and other activities; e) monitoring equipment performance to ensure that equipment is operational and performing regular preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment according to manufacturers' recommendations; and f) assisting in nursing skill coaching, event co-ordination and ad hoc projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Holder of Higher Diploma or Associate Degree in nursing or health sciences with at least 2 years of work experience in health care sector;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Effective communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
• Good team spirit, self-motivated and positive attitude; and
• Preference will be given to applicants who are registered/enrolled nurse.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
