The appointee will be responsible for the management of science laboratories of College of International Education on Shatin Shek Mun Campus.  Duties include: upkeep of the laboratories/classrooms; carrying out of regular checks and regular maintenance of the equipment, facilities and materials and related inventory management; and provision of IT/audio/visual support. The appointee will also perform the role of a demonstrator to demonstrate laboratory experiments and equipment usage; organize and lead students during laboratory sessions and field surveys; assist teaching staff in preparing course materials; give technical assistance in curricular and extracurricular student and campus activities; and provide training and briefing to students.

Requirements:

• Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Life Science/Food Science/Health Science/Environmental Science or related disciplines, with preferably 2 years of relevant experience in research and/or technical laboratories;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• High proficiency in MS Office application;
• Effective communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
• Good interpersonal skills with positive service attitude and team spirit; and
• Strong sense of self-motivation and organizing ability.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
