• Conducts routine analytical and physical tests of samples per procedures

• Performs non-routine analytical and physical tests in support of customer trials

• Assists internal or external service provider in repairing and updating lab equipment and making recommendations for improvement of processes

• Documents the testing records

• Calibrates(if needed) all analytical equipment

• Gets involved in 3 BU ’s project and provide technical support

• Ensures good housekeeping and proper waste disposal according to procedures and governmental regulations

• Conducts daily work in a safe, accurate and efficient way

Physical Demands and Work Environment身体素质和工作环境

• Able to work independently

• Able to work in chemical laboratory environment, comply with Michelman EHS

• Capable of conducting bench scale experiments and planttrials, including occasional handling of heavy equipment and materials up to 25kg

• Available to travel regionally and internationally in support of business

Key Requirement 职位要求

• 
  A major or minor in chemistry, or related science field

  化工专业

• 2~5 years of industrial laboratory experience or equivalent is required

  2~5年工业实验室工作经验

• General knowledge of basic laboratory operations is required

• Must be able to comprehend and accurately execute detailed procedures and complex laboratory instrumentation

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Basic mathematical skills are required for computing data for finished test results that are required by the internal customers andregulatory compliance
