工作职责

• 安全工作,促进一个安全的工作环境；参加安全会议/活动, 开展安全检查,符合“安全文化”；
• 根据时间表和目标，组织以及优化实验工作和实验室资源来支持技术项目；提供实验设计(DOE)支持应用程序开发/研究和其他技术项目支持；
• 负责实验室测试,获取可靠以及精确的数据。这将包括物理、化学和/或分析测试和测量；
• 负责文档实验工作,数据分析,撰写技术报告并且与主管和/或技术团队及时沟通；
• 支持应用开发，进行文献和专利搜索，确定研究项目；
• 读懂测试方式，理解ASTM、ISO、GB标准；基于实验和客户定制需求的适用性标准， 设计和编写内部测试方法；
• 支持实验室日常管理和正常操作。与供应商合作确保原材料、设备和消耗品能够保证实验室正常运行。随时维护实验室的内务整洁；
• 负责实验室设备和仪器的管理，包括校准和维护，新设备的采购和安装。确保实验室设备定期校准和检查，以保持准确性和可重复性。与HSE合作编写JSA（工作安全分析）手册和SOP（标准化流程），用以确保实验室设备安全运行。

职位要求

• 经验/工作经验/专长： 1至2年实验室工作经验，有跨国公司工作经验者优先。应聘者应具有化学或高分子材料领域的实验室工作经验；
• 判断力：能够组织测试和实验，根据项目优先级，管理时间和资源。良好的计划能力，以确保化学品，样品和设备在需要时可用。在发现实验室出现安全问题时及时通知同事和主管。有良好的判断能力，注重细节，有良好的观察能力；
• 主动性：自我激励，会主动寻找改进实验室的工作流程、测试准确性和安全性的方法；
• 技术技能：掌握高分子物理，塑料技术和分析测试方面的知识。应聘者也应具有扎实的聚合物性能知识以及积累了相关的测试方法，如物理、机械、热学、光学等方面的经验，对实验设计有很好的理解能力；
• 计算机技能：能使用微软Outlook，PowerPoint，Word和Excel；
• 语言技能：良好的英语书写和口语能力；
• 沟通技巧：能够通过电子邮件、口头沟通和/或简洁的报告形式向团队成员和主管清楚地传达实验结果。及时以及清晰的地更新研究笔记；
• 团队合作精神：能够与亚太地区的技术团队，分析团队，以及和其他技术团队或不同地区的业务部门进行合作，快速融入多元化的团队环境。

Essential Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote a safe work environment. Attend safety meeting/activities, carry out safety inspections and comply with Safety Culture;
• Organize and prioritize experimental work and lab resource to support technical projects based on timelines and objectives outlined by supervisor. Provide design of experiments (DOE) support to application development/research and other technical projects;
• Perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data. This will include physical, chemical and /or analytical testing and measurement;
• Document experimental work, carry out data analysis, write technical reports and interpret results to present to supervisor and/or technology team;
• Support AD rep to conduct literature and patent searches on identified topics relevant to the research project;
• Read test methods, understand ASTM, ISO and GB standards, design and write internal testing methods based on requirements of tailored experiments and customer’s fitness-for-use criteria;
• Support lab day-to-day management and operations. Work with vendors to ensure that raw materials, equipment and consumables are available for smooth laboratory operations. Maintain lab housekeeping in a customer ready state;
• Be responsible for lab equipment and instrument management including calibration and maintenance, new equipment purchasing process and installation. Ensure laboratory equipment is routinely calibrated and checked to maintain accuracy and repeatability. Work with HSE to write JSA, safety manuals and SOP to make sure safe operation on lab equipment;

Knowledge and Skill Requirements (To include education and experience)

• Experience/Job Knowledge/Expertise – 1 to 2 years lab experience preferably in a MNC. Fresh graduates with relevant background are also acceptable. The Candidate should have lab work experience in chemistry or polymer materials field.
• Judgment – Able to organize testing and experiments, manage time and resource according to project priority. Good planning to ensure that chemicals, samples and equipment are available when required. Notify peers and supervisor when issues related laboratory safety is being observed. Must be accurate, pay attention to details and have good observation ability.
• Initiative – Must be self-motivated, looking for ways to improve laboratory work processes, testing accuracy and safety.

- Technical Skills - Good knowledge in polymer physics, plastics technique, and analytical testing. The candidate should have solid knowledge and experience in polymer properties and the testing methods such as physical, mechanical, thermal and optical properties etc. A good understanding of Design of Experiments is highly preferred.

• Computer Skills – Able to use Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Language Skills – Good skill in both writing and speaking English
• Communication Skills – Must be able to communicate experimental results clearly to team member and supervisor through email, verbal communication and/or concise report. Require to update research notebook clearly and promptly.
• Teamwork – Must be able to work collaboratively within Specialty Plastics AP Technology team, analytical team, other technology team and various business functions in different region if necessary. The ability to work with people having different personalities and different job functions is a must.
