Job Description
• Driving seat of your Kitchen, innovative and passionate about food
• Identify the recruitment needs in kitchen and ensure par levels are always accurate
• Aware of external factors which could affect sales such as local business, trends in the market
• Deliver budgeted stock results, any issues or loss is investigated
• Ensure that stock counts and reconciliations are not manipulated, site is achieving passing in internal independent audits and Government audits
• Ensure all hygiene & food safety, and quality audit
• Food standards are compliant with policy in kitchen
• Ensure that all dishes which leave your kitchen are delivered on Spec to standard. Any issues are raised and rectified
Job Requirement
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Head Chef in Western restaurant or Cafe
• Basic working knowledge of baking
• Experience in pre-opening project is a must
• Should have detailed knowledge of hygiene & food safety
• Strong leadership, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Passionate about cooking and menu development
• Strong business acumen, organized with attention to detail
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as a Sous Chef
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must, Cantonese and Mandarin are essential
