- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years of experience managing relationships, cross-functional teams, programs, or products
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and proven successful in relationship management
- Strong Excel skills and experience in designing and maintaining metrics models and reports based on collected data
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with digital media data and distribution elements, formats, and platforms: XML, HTML, Codecs, FTP, Encoding, etc.; Excel, Access
- Fluent Mandarin and good Verbal and Written English are required
Amazon China is looking for an innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Technical Account Manager (TAM). This role is responsible for enabling a seamless operational flow of content and metadata through the digital supply chain, from publishers and content providers all the way through to consumers.
TAMs own the operational relationship with publishers and content providers, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to drive end-to-end efficiency integrating digital content into Amazon systems. TAMs have direct daily contact with publishers and work side-by-side with internal business teams to acquire and ingest content for the store, including training, onboarding, coordinating, trouble-shooting, file creation and submission, content ingestion, technical support, and quality.
The successful candidate would be better to have experience or can quickly grasp the ability in digital media distribution systems and processes, metadata feeds, digital file formats, delivery platforms, and be able to coordinate credibly with business and technical teams. He or she will have demonstrated ownership and independence, ability to build and maintain working relationships, an excellent command of process improvement and standard operational principles, and must appreciate the challenge of difficult problems in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily technical support for publishers and conversion houses on issues such as data transmission, XML, FTP, images, metadata, digital file formats, and content ingestion portals specific to Amazon.
- Interact with digital content providers to stay on top of new content deliveries, changes in specs, resolution of problems including issues related to ingestion, clearing and reporting.
- Demonstrates ability to analyze data, design or create metrics to track performance status and area which need to drive.
- Experience in project management, be able to drive projects within operational team and can implement changes or develops new processes as necessary to reduce manual efforts.
- Strong, creative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership and a self-starter that has track record of delivering results
- Liaise with other departments such as Vendor Manager, TAM, SGX or engineer teams as required to resolve publishers’ issues and questions.
- Advanced Excel and database management skills and the web coding skills
- Previous working experience in multinational companies would be an added advantage
- Project management skill is a plus
- Experience in digital media and knowledge of the publishing industry is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA is plus.
