Position:IB Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher
Location: Bao’an, Shenzhen, Guangdong
On board time:ASAP

1+6+1 Curriculum System
Core Curriculum: IB Curriculum Our IB curriculum respects each child's individuality, abilities, and experiences. It encourages learning through practice, experimentation, and exploration, fostering a love for learning and a deep understanding of the world.

• Drama + STEM + LEGO
• Aesthetics + Music + Physical Intelligence
At Shenzhen IB Kindergarten, our courses emphasize the unique differences of each child, striving to provide a rich and diverse childhood experience. Beyond the core curriculum, our specialized courses represent a comprehensive system, reflecting our commitment to holistic education.
Distinctive Social Practice Courses
We place great importance on connecting curriculum with real-life experiences. Through unique off-campus courses, children have the opportunity to explore their abilities, discover their potential, and fully demonstrate their creativity and teamwork outside the standard curriculum. These diverse activities help children develop innovation skills and a collaborative spirit,preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Qualifications:
1. Native English speaker from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa;
2. Major in Education is preferred;
3. At least 1 year teaching experience or curriculum related to IB teaching experiences is preferred;
4. TEFL/TESOL/Cambridge English Teaching Qualification;
5. Age between (22-50);
6. Be able to apply Chinese Z visa in English teaching position.
Job Descriptions
1. Age Group: 2-6 years old;
2. Class Size: 20-25 students;
3. Working hours: 8am-12:00pm, 2-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with lunch break;
4. Day Off: 2 days off on weekends, 11 Chinse public holidays, winter/summer vacation;
5. Class settings: In a homeroom setting, four teachers, namely, International
Teacher, Two Chinese Teachers and a caretaker will be responsible for one class for a certain age group;
6. Curriculum: IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) & STEM;
7. Lessons: English classes will be conducted following the IB framework with the addition of arts, drama, gym classes;
8. Reports & Training: Teaching reports and teaching preparation session needed during 12:30-1:30pm once a week;
9. Additional Tasks: Accomplish assignments allocated by academic manager or principal.
Compensation
1. Total Salary: 16,000-25,000 RMB/month including housing allowance;
2. Flight and Visa Reimbursement: 7,000 RMB for document authentications, work visa, residence permit and medical checkup fees;
3. Contract Renewal Bonus: 5,000RMB;
4. Free Hotel: Up to 4 days upon arrival;
5. Free Meals: Three meals from breakfast to dinner provided by the school;
6. Medical and Accident Insurance: Provided;
7. Paid Holidays: 11 days public holidays and summer/winter vacations;
8. Training and Orientation: Pre-job orientation, on-going IB workshops/training, professional development and career development opportunities in teaching.
