This will be achieved by driving innovative science, preparing launches, building close collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders in health care systems, and developing high-performing teams.

We are now looking for a Key Account Manager to join the Danish Primary Care Sales Team. This role is field based and located  in South Denmark. You will be accountable for your regional accounts securing sales and driving business in collaboration with both local and national cross-functional teams.

As a Key Account Manager, you will contribute to AstraZeneca’s strong Diabetes- and Respiratory franchises, two of our key growth platforms. Our  products offering are the broadest in the market, and we continue to launch new products and treatment indications in the near future.

The role

As our Key Account Manager (KAM) you are responsible for the commercial interactions with different health care stakeholder groups. You pro-actively identify business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives, and recommend solutions to drive and develop business.

You are accountable for driving the performance of your products in your own working area. This means driving joint value creation by for example booking and organizing meetings (F2F and virtual) and other activities with a focus on organizing the right activities for the right customers within the right accounts.

Patient-centricity is one of AstraZeneca´s core values. Identifying, creating and developing  long-term mutual value within key accounts is therefore essential for this role.

In order to succeed, you have

It is a strong advantage to have at least 3-4 years previous experience from the pharmaceutical industry with relevant experience as a sales representative with solid sales results.

  • Diabetes & Respiratory diseases knowledge is a benefit
  • Solution- and target-oriented mindset combined with independent way of working
  • Commercial innovation - ability and track-record of developing, shaping and executing impactful, customer/stakeholder focused activities to achieve long-term business goals
  • Excellent oral and writing skills in Danish language
  • Valid driver´s license
