Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate’s level of experience in the commodities industry.

Candidates new to the industry will be introduced to and will work on all aspects of physical commodity trading, from basic transportation and logistics concepts to derivatives and hedging.

The new hire will work with Chinese counterparties as well as the Switzerland head office.

He/she will work closely with the senior traders in Beijing, in a small team setting. Travel will apply, especially within China.

This is an opportunity to join the world’s largest zinc-lead trading desk in the world’s most dynamic metals market.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor or Master Degree from a top university and has been abroad for studies or work experience. Prior internship or full-time work experience in an international setting is preferred, though not required (2-5 years). We are looking for highly motivated self-starters with strong language skills in English (our Corporate Language) and Mandarin Chinese (native-level preferred) who can make significant contributions to the company. Candidates should have exceptional communication and analytical as well as problem solving skills and be quick thinkers who have the ability to multi-task.
