Responsibilities
Middle Office is a team with in-dependence and absolute neutrality in trading house, and their primary responsibilities are monitoring and controlling all elements of market risks and positions exposure related to the trading activities and reporting directly to the management and board on daily basis. On the other hand, their risk analysis is a good tool for traders to assess their own exposure, optionality and PnL, as those reports are essential to help them to make the right decisions, adjusting their strategies so as to optimize the opportunities their portfolios may generate.
Our Middle Office team looking for a strong candidate to support them. Duties include:

• Deal entries into ETRM system and report the daily PnL, exposures and pricing risk to traders and management
• Manage the full risk profile of the trading business assigned
• Monitor and ensure exposure is kept in line with the agreed appetite for risk
• Proactively develop and improve business processes and ETRM systems / functionalities in coordination with traders, IT and reporting line.

Profile/Desired Competencies

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance Engineering or Mathematics preferred
• Relevant experience in trading house is a plus (ICTS/Amphora knowledge preferable)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA knowledge preferable
• Interest in commodity and energy markets
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High regard for attention to detail, accuracy & quality
• Excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills in English and Mandarin
• Self-motivated and quick learner with a positive “can do” attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under high pressure
