Key Responsibilities

• Explore the host autophagy system and innate immune for pathogen clearance.
• Lead a group of scientists to set up a variety of cellular systems to evaluate the hypothesis.
• Identify the interaction between host and the pathogens, particularly the specific proteins involved.
• Design experiment to prove the concept.
• Engage other functions in drug discovery to drive the project into pipeline
• Coordinate with collaborators and CROs

Minimum Requirements

• PhD degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related biological sciences with over 6 year experience, with solid training and good tracking record
• Hands-on experience in a variety of cell cultures, knowledge and experience in autophagy and innate immune system
• Demonstrated leadership and presentation skill
• Good team player, excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Scientific integrity is a must; candidate should be professional in maintaining lab notebooks and electronic files.
