Summary:

This role will be responsible for supporting international sales strategy execution, he/she will manage international sales in promoting ConMet’s products to commercial vehicle end users for both bus and truck market.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for increasing international sales of ConMet products to end users including heavy and medium truck, bus, fleets, dealers and distributors, etc.

  • Define target international customers, product definition, pricing, marketing and promotional programs, etc.

  • International customer relationship building / customer mapping.

  • Develop and promote commercial and technical relationships.

  • Coordinate marketing activities for international sales (trade shows, advertising, promotions, website etc.)

  • Review sales itineraries and set priorities

  • Monthly forecasting of international sales.

  • Respond to RFQ’s. and contract review.

  • Grow sales to targeted margin and volumes per international sales strategy.

  • Periodic review of individual and company performance.

  • Resource to Engineering and Manufacturing personnel.

  • Audit expense reports and manage travel budgets.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a technical or related field.

  • Eight or more years of international sales management experience in commercial industry.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence in the English and Japanese languages.

  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization. Cross cultural competencies (i.e. listening, flexibility, etc.)

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive travel and entertainment of customers. Office environment for the rest of the time.
