iSoftStone is looking for an Internal Technical Support person to join Worldwide Services in our Beijing Headquarters. You will be responsible for carrying out the software support process for our delivery teams. You will collaborate with project and software teams based both in office and remotely.

Job Description:

-Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand their change requests and bug reports at a business and technical level
-Gain an in-depth understanding of the workflows and logic on a variety of different platforms, including workflow management systems and databases
-Sit in daily meetings to take information from operational teams and convert into usable change requests and actionable bug reports
-Formulate requirements into simple but rigorous requests which can be easily understood by developers, including succinct instructions and screenshots as necessary
-Troubleshoot problems to understand the nature of the problem, determine possible workarounds, communicate with programmers for long-term fixes, write test cases, test /work with groups of testers to complete and confirm each test case, implement fixes and confirm with stakeholders
-Review design questions as they arise, implement workarounds or collaborate with the programming team for a long-term fix

Qualifications:

-Working English proficiency: it is important that you can understand English at a working level in all three areas, written, verbal and listening, however we are not seeking a native speaker, and accent is no problem
-Experience working with one or more of .NET, Java or Web programming
-Experience in software testing
-Able to work as part of a big corporation, but to integrate in a development team that operates in startup style
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills, to develop working relationships with a range of stakeholders
-Enthusiasm to work in a global, dynamic team

Education and Experience:
At least two years of working experience in a similar role preferred.
