Job Description

RWS is looking for translation interns to join our Danish Team for a 3-months fixed-term contract ( June-August 2023).

This paid (remote)  internship is designed to provide an introduction to professional translation and allow translators to grow key linguistic and commercial skills as they begin their careers in the localisation industry. The programme will offer training modules in translation, review and machine translation post-editing, as well as full instruction in the use of some of our company’s key technology solutions and valuable guidance on achieving a successful career in translation.

Main Duties:

  • Producing quality translations within given deadlines from English into Danish
  • Coordinating translation tasks in collaboration with team members, project managers and freelance translators
  • Understanding and following linguistic processes and procedures
  • Providing full linguistic support for colleagues
  • Review work of other in-house and external translators
  • Using the translation tools and work scheduling systems efficiently


Essential requirements:

  • Native-level Danish and excellent English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
  • Ability to quickly learn to use new tools and to follow instructions
  • Efficiency and strong organizational skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Good knowledge of translation software such as Trados Studio 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite     
  • Translation experience
  • Experience coordinating translation projects
