YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Intern Sustainable Food System, are to:
- Understand the agriculture market, food systems and good communications skills;
- Evaluate the public reaction of the market and potential trends of the agriculture industry through research;
- Gather research through getting public available information by using an internet only focus for Food Reform on Sustainability and Health (FReSH) with support from the Bayer Fusion Center, Bayer Research Center facility and the stakeholder team;
- Obtain the perspective related to "shifting diets" from updated reports helping to shape Bayer approach related to next steps and policies assessment in relation to latest Reports using good communications, especially related to dietary shifts (food transformation); This will be done through research focusing on the globe;
- Work as part of our team towards a global update related to the FReSH – World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) - priorities areas;
- Provide a Summary with an overview related to food systems transformation;
- Create a report with priority areas mapping Bayer global business cases;
- Maintain internal communication and alignment related to Food System Transformation;
- Provide an overview about what other companies are doing in relation to this process.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Master's degree in Food or Agriculture related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (or higher);
- Demonstrated experience working with Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships;
- Excellent communication both oral and written;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills;
- Demonstrated organizational, time management, independent prioritization skills; self-motivated, ability to handle numerous tasks at the same time are imperative to effectively perform the functions of this position, as is attention to detail;
- Be able to be highly effective and successful working independently and with teams;
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work through and complete assignments which often result in conflicting priorities and deadlines with little to no supervision;
- Excellent communications skills, with a proven ability to respond with professionalism in verbal as well as written communications;
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, professional and ethical work practices;
- Proficient computer skills, including Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and knowledge of using internet for research tasks;
- Passionate about his/her work and opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the team and Bayer;
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills;
- Possess strong, sound judgment; diplomatic;
- Creativity; out-of-the-box thinker.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with a Systems Management concentration;
- Fluent English language - multi-lingual.
