III. Hall of Leaders Academy

This posting is for hiring instructors who work for our academy.

In the perspective of the entire business, HOL academy plays a critical role as a content incubator. It also provides the entire business with chances for Man-Learning, leading to Machine-Learning.

Our students are from Grade 2 to Grade 11, most of whom are attending international schools. They are quite fluent in English, so a teacher's linguistic qualification matters.

HOL Academy not only teaches English, but also teaches other fields in English. We are teaching and developing following programs:

• Debating (Asian Parliamentary, British Parliamentary)
• Fluency Training
• Fiction and Non-fiction
• Research Paper Writing
• TOEFL / PSAT / SAT
• STEM
  

Working Condition

I. Job type

: Full-time (Part-time is available, but the content hereof is about the full-time position.)

II. Monetary Compensation

• Salary ranges from 6,000 ~ 25,000 RMB RMB a month.
• Salary consists of Base Pay and Performance Incentive.
• Base Pay has three rates: 6,000 CNY / 8,000 CNY / 10,000 CNY
• Performance Incentive has six rates:
• We are NOT providing severance pay.
  

III. Non-monetary Compensation

• Our students participate in debate tournaments of many different countries. Chances are that you visit the countries as a guardian.
• We give more flexibility on working hours and increase the number of days of paid vacation.

• In addition to teaching, you can initiate your ventures within Hall of Leaders.
  

IV. Working Hours & Holidays

• Two options: Five or Six days in a week, 8 hours a day
• Off duty on national holidays
• After one full year, 7 days of paid vacation are given.
  

Accountability

I. Make the best outcomes

• Manage up to 6 classes (8 students in a class), teaching for 4-6 hours in a day, usually 4.
• Try to make outcome marketable or make marketable outcome.
• Align teaching to the academy's strategies.
• Correct and mark students' work meticulously.
• Prepare writing feedback once in a month.
• Handling student's problems related to goal setting, motivation, and learning strategies.
  

II. Make your supervisor and parents informed.

• Write progress report of each student, which takes 10 min. after each class.
• Write two formal reports—mid-term and term-end—in a semester(5 months)
• Prepare Parents-Teacher Conference (PTC).
• Report serious problems and encouraging outcomes.
  

III. Contribute to innovation and enhancement.

• Devise, discover, and share 'Best Practices' and insights.
  

Qualification

• Excellent pronunciation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Recommendation from the superintendent who applicant has taught under
• At least, 2 years of professional experience in related fields after graduation or Master Degree. (it's a must condition to obtain work visa.)
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Have no criminal record
  

Preference

• Debate / MUN Award winning career
• Planning experience in any field
• Major in Educational Engineering, Educational Psychology, English Literature, and English Education
• A Master's degree in TESOL/TEFL, English education, or literature
• TOEFL: Higher than 116 / New SAT: Higher than 1550
• More than 5 years of residence in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States or South Africa
• Graduation from high schools and/or universities in the United States, England, Canada, and Australia.
