The Center is looking for an/a Instructional Assistant/Teaching Associate to support students at the University through student engagement activities, course design and programs development.

The appointee is expected to:

• Assist in the development of a new cornerstone design course for first-year engineering students;
• Design and deliver instructional materials for online/mixed mode teaching;
• Promote experiential learning programs; and
• Assist in initiatives and projects related to innovative pedagogies and student development. 

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or education discipline with at least 1 year of instructional experience. Candidates with knowledge and experiences in active learning pedagogies in higher education will have an advantage. A high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential, and conversational Cantonese is preferred. We are looking for a highly motivated, pragmatic and organized individual who enjoys working with students. Candidates with more years of relevant experience or with a master’s degree may be considered for appointment as Teaching Associate. (Duration: 1 year)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
