Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. This position is based at the MPL facility in our Williamsburg, VA location. Position Overview: The Inside Sales Specialist will provide product quotations and world class customer support to both internal and external customers while following all internal policies and procedures to help meet MP&L goals for on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, revenue growth and profitability. In this function you will: Complete customer quotes daily using the Bid Manager software and other internal resources. Field phone calls and e-mails daily from internal and external stakeholders regarding inquiries on pricing, lead time, order status, customer stock, and shipping preparation & documentation. Communicate customer requirements and changes to the operations team. Understand market demands and the competitive landscape to price jobs effectively and ensure Marina Power & Lighting is receiving profitable business while staying competitive in the market. Being knowledgeable in Eaton Marina Power & Lighting product offerings, and applying them to customer needs. Interdepartmental collaboration and communication of ship dates, parts order status, tracking information, lead time changes for products, and production issues with relation to customer delays. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution. Minimum two (2) years of customer service or manufacturing experience is required. Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship to be considered. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area within 50 miles of Williamsburg, VA will be considered for this position.
