Job Purpose
The role has two aspects. The main purpose of the position is to generate more opportunities to sell our product Trados with marketing activities. Work closely with marketing manager and sales team to achieve the goal. The other responsibility is to handle the incoming inquiries from freelance customers.
Our culture has flexibility and you have an opportunity to try new activities with the team to make things better. The position is a good chance to work with the industry-leading global team. In Japan marketing you get to experience many different types of marketing activities (digital marketing, events, emails and etc).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute local marketing activities with a field marketing manager and sales team to create sales opportunities (BtoB market). Local marketing activities include: webinars, events, sales offers, advertisements, social media, and blogs etc.
- Work closely with HQ marketing team to execute global campaigns in Japan by reviewing and customizing marketing contents (mailers, website, and brochures).
- Utilize MA/CRM/CMS tools such as Hubspot and Salesforce etc. to run local campaigns.
- Respond quickly and smoothly to inquiries from freelance customer in Japan (BtoC market).
Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of experience in marketing or sales (experience in software/SaaS industry is preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Japanese and English.
- Communication skills to collaborate with sales team and HQ marketing team.
- Active listening to assess prospect needs and opportunities.
- Team-work oriented and a positive, self-starter and generate own tasks.
- Experience in digital marketing is plus.
- Creative, flexible and positive thinking.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team in global company.
