Le Segment eMobility d’Eaton recherche un(e): Ingénieur Système (H/F) Localisation : Montrottier- 45 minutes de Lyon, France You will join our eMobility Division, which is currently experiencing massive growth thanks to various recent major wins. eMobility designs and manufactures innovative energy converters primarily used in the automotive industry for new electrical vehicles. You will actively contribute to the overall system architecture to meet the product functional and safety requirements. From high level system requirement, you will do the functional allocation to subsystem, use MBSE to describe the architecture, and elaborate the functional interfaces. You will be in contact with our OEM customers, and plants. You will take part of global development programs shared between the different R&D centers of our eMobility Division all around the world. You could be based at our Montrottier plant (less than an hour away from Lyon). Some remote work is possible Your main duties On top of both V cycle branches you will: Elaborate high level product requirements Allocate the requirements to the different core technical fields Perform system studies to orientate the technical tradeoffs Define the functional architecture of the system Link the functional and physical architecture of the system Integrate the functional safety requirements in the product Elaborate and drive the system integration test plan Work transversally with SW, Power electronics/HW, Mechanical and testing laboratory Develop functional models based on Matlab/Simulink tool chain Enhance Model Based System Engineering – Knowledge in System composer would be a plus Integrate different model sources: Power electronic models (PLECS/Saber), MBD SW models (Simulink), Thermal models Enter and maintain specification sets in JAZZ/DNG Participate with our functional safety engineers to safety analysis Provide support for production and after-sales service throughout the product life cycle Troubleshoot complex system failure and document the results Contribute to functional safety analysis Ensure customer technical interface #LI-JN1 Qualifications Qualifications Chartered engineer – power electronics systems or any embedded system Solid experience in automotive embedded system Experience in developing safety critical embedded system (ISO26262) Like new challenges and working in an Agile and global environment Good French and English level mandatory What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
