Key Responsibilities

• The duties of this position will involve supporting and/or leading a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative therapeutic drugs for infectious diseases such as TB or viral infections caused by HBV, DENV and ZIKV.
• The candidate will use in vitro HTS assays to identify innovative drug hits and animal models to evaluate the efficacy of hits and the mechanism of action of these hits.
• The candidate will work both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment to design, execute, interpret and communicate immunology studies for one or more projects utilizing good scientific judgment and strong team skills.

Minimum Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in appropriate discipline required (e.g., virology, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology).
• 2-8 years’experience (industry experience preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication/Presentation skills, in addition to excellent organizational skills.
• Expertise in current technology practices in viral immunology and molecular biology is required.
• Experience in viral culture and Immunoassays Is Required.
• Experience in TB, HBV, DENV and ZIKV manipulation Is Preferred.
• Hands-on expertise in screening assay development to provide optimal HTS system for in vitro drug screening.
• Ability to independently design experiments, make detailed observations, analyze data, interpret results and deliver timely results.
