Follows developments in the Oil & Gas market (refinery, petrochemical, chemical) and Power plants (waste to energy, Coal Fired Boiler, Biomass plants).
Monitoring the market through business lines and a personal network in the region.
Design and implement strategic marketing and sales plans derived of annual acquisition plan for acquiring and maintaining relationships with clients within the assigned region
Performing commercial interventions with existing customers and potential customers the assigned region
Analyze needs of prospects, identifying the interest of prospects for products or services
Plan and execute an extensively weekly travel schedule
Inventory of customer data and proper registration in the Sales Force system (SFDC)
Maintaining relationships with customers in the region, in accordance with commercial policy and the strategic objectives of the client, resulting in a stable, constructive and profitable customer-supplier relationship.
Discuss customer account plans with the general manager and Director Business Development
Develops (with applicable Project Manager) a winning strategy, to meet customer requirements and get the best quote to customer in time with the Commercial Operation department and Project Manager
Advising on the purchase price / sales margins in tenders
Negotiates with applicable Project Manager and Commercial Operations department the contract price and corresponding terms and conditions
Coordinating customer contact within the Overseas Company Entities
Responsible for the follow-up of quotations
Monitoring the progress of projects and if necessary intervene
Responsible for obtaining the contract (closing) in close collaboration with the Project Manager.
Assists in realizing defined project results.
Assists the Financial Department to collect payments when requested
Active during the site project to support Operations and follow client needs and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in related field
Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in sales dealing with End Users (Oil Refinery, Chemical, petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Biomass, Coal Fired Boiler plants) and/or Vessel, Boiler Fabricators.
Technical industrial background
Broad mechanical maintenance service knowledge (and also experience preferably).
Commercial experience in an international environment, with proven track record preferably in the maintenance and/or service industry.
Good English written and verbal communication
