Main Accountabilities：

1.Implement and monitor proper execution of China category strategies on local level, define corrective actions and escalate problems to next level

2.Negotiation of China purchasing agreements with suppliers for indirect materials to ensure their reliable and safe supply at the most competitive prices according to stakeholder’s requirement and ensure contracting where appropriate

3.Developing and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers as well as ensuring close cooperation with internal counterparts and SCM management team

4.Assessment, auditing and monitoring of supplier performance according to agreements and defined standards to initiate and implement corrective actions in case of deviations. Establish list of preferred suppliers.

5.Adequate support and development of China junior buyers to carry out their activities.

6.Monitor and analyze relevant supplier market segments to identify opportunities within the marketplace

7.Apply best-practice processes, tools, and techniques, in accordance with purchasing governance, processes, standards, and procedures

8.Maintain preferred supplier lists, corporate contracts, and framework agreements

9.Maintain (master)data, provide reports & manage information/data as required

10.Lead competitive bidding process to avoid single source and to ensure the process fully comply with the compliance

11.Monitor and analyze relevant supplier market segments to identify opportunities within the marketplace

12.Apply best-practice processes, tools, and techniques, in accordance with purchasing governance, processes, standards, and procedures

13.Maintain preferred supplier lists, corporate contracts, and framework agreements

14.Maintain (master)data, provide reports & manage information/data as required

15.Prepare and manage monthly Savings Report and Indirect Purchasing report

16.Liaising effectively with Administration, HR, Finance, Maintenance, Logistics and the other internal customers to provide prompt purchasing support

17.Liaising effectively with Global Indirect peers to gain or provide support where required

18.Development and implementation of China / global indirect purchasing strategies and objectives

19.Development of strategic purchasing opportunities in MRO, Packaging material, CapEx project as well as service contract.

20.Implementation the purchasing governance processes in compliance approach21.

Qualification:

?Min 6 years’ experience in Indirect Purchasing

?Good general purchasing background, combined with solid engineering experience

?CapEx project purchasing experience will be preferred.

?Mature negotiation and analytical skills

?Mature communication, and interpersonal skills

?Solid commitment to continuous improvement and positive ‘can-do’ attitude

?Proficiency in the use of relevant IT applications

?Good knowledge of English

?Some understanding of key RM as well as industry

?University degree in Engineering or Business

?Basic people management competencies
