Job Responsibilities:

1. Establishes and maintains key strategic relationships with local authorities and internal shareholders.

2. Responsible for import and export Customs (including CIQ section) declaration and inspection as well as related documents preparation and verification.

3. Coordinates with internal shareholders, MOA, Customs (including CIQ section) and resolves multifarious import and export issues.

4. Supports the import and export activities for cross border horse movement timely in compliance with all laws and customs regulations.

5. Provides onsite support for horse movement at CRC and/or borders and ensures smooth Customs inspection.

6. Monitors imp & exp clearance practices and facilitates the progress of declaration process (i.e. document preparation and submission, systemic data entry, information delivery etc.) of customs broker(s) and/or imp & exp administrator(s) to ensure within the agreed KPI lead time.

7. Develops measures for implementing continuous improvement in relation to Customs clearance and horse movement, support the establishment of the Cross border horse movement Standard Operation Procedures and driver handbook, detailing operating procedures and defining of roles and responsibilities.

8. Assists in Horse Movement Manager to select and hire employees, implement employees training, conduct performance appraisals, correct mis-conduct, recognize and reward excellent performance.

9. Supports maintaining the AEO certificate issued by Customs.

Job Requirements:

1. College degree or above, international trade, logistics, Customs affairs, International freight forwarding or other related majors.

2. At least six years import and export working experience in relevant area, with 2 years at supervisory level.

3. With driving license, official Customs broker license and CIQ quarantine license is preferable.

4. Proficient in the operation of international logistics and familiar with import and export trade terms.

5. Able to read and write in English.
