The job holder is responsible for all import and export process related activities, such as custom clearance, shipment arrangement, forwarder management, import and export costs management, etc.

1. Import and Export Service Fulfilment

Handling import and export orders, as shipment arrangement, customs clearance and delivery. Following the SLA and service KPIs aligned to make sure delivery on time in full

2. Operational Excellence

Proactive communication with stakeholders to understand the requirements of stakeholders and continuously improve to achieve operational excellence

3. Trade Compliance Enhancement

Strictly comply with the trade compliance and procedure to drive for min. and to eliminate the trade compliance risk

4.Reporting

Running monthly shipment data and report to support China import & export SSC operation centre leader to analyse the performance of supplier and the KPIs to BU

5. Import and Export Spending Management

Provide regular cost information to stakeholders assigned. Help stakeholder on reports of related spending items of import and export

6. Professionalism Development

Align with operation centre leader, and make plan to improve the professionalism on import and export.

7. ERP (SAP, MFG pro etc.) and import and export management system utilization

8. Familiar with SAP utilization and do assigned transaction in ERP system, and use the import and export management system to manage all orders.

Requirement:

College degree or above in International Trade, Logistics , Business Administration, or other relevant discipline preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience including in an international logistics role.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong result orientation and drive, problem solving, team working.

Ability to drive and manage business in a cross BU level.

Able to handle conflicting business interests, understand and be able to establish common ground in organizational (including cross BU) barriers.

Ability to perform, understand and communicate detailed information analysis and evaluation.

Experienced Import and export professionalism with broad understanding of import and export knowledge in chemicals industry.

Operational excellence knowledge and experience of working on project.

Knowledge of Logistics in general and import and export specifically.

Knowledge of customs regulations and any regulation changes.

Ability to assess underlying business impact of a specific course of action and business / process change.

Understanding of business processes and business in general.

Customer focused.

Fluent written and reading English is required.
