We are the implementation team behind Oracle Cloud Lift Services focused on helping our customers to rapidly gain value from Oracle Cloud. As part of these services, Oracle is looking for top engineers to quickly migrate eligible customer workloads to Oracle Cloud, enabling customers to derive value from OCI investments.

We are a dedicated group of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experts assisting our customers from inception through launch activities, including assessment, designing and prototyping, migration, and management to accelerate time to value.

Job Description

We are looking for a new generation of implementation engineers who want to help our customers rapidly achieve value from Oracle Cloud. Our expert delivery team operates across a number of key service disciplines in which we are looking to hire new talent:

• In terms of technical skills strong Database Experience, RAC, Dataguard, RMAN, ASM, MAA solutions/HA, Golden Gate and Database migrations/upgrades, ZDM. Database skills are abilities and knowledge that are required for database related roles such as database development and database administration.
• ExaCC - Cloud at Customer.
• Linux and UNIX operating Systems. Engineered Systems like Exadata/ZDLRA
• OCI
• Cloud Solutions like AWS, AZURE, Google cloud skills are a plus to join us!
• Microsoft SQL Server skills, experience into migrate such environments to Oracle.
• Skills may also be related to a particular aspect of databases such as database architecture or security.
• If you are an expert on Security will fit very good with the team.

As a key member of the Cloud Lift Implementor organisation, you will work with the latest and constantly evolving Oracle Cloud technology. As a recognised authority and significant contributor, you will assist in the implementation of Oracle Cloud for Oracle’s top customers throughout the EMEA region.

As an Implementation Engineer, you will

• Provide technical expertise (including configuration and/or code development) for one or more of the disciplines highlighted above.
• Assist the Technical Lead and Workload Architect in ensuring that the proposed solution is technically viable.
• Assist the Technical Lead and Workload Architect in defining the solution architecture.
• Provide technical input into the sales cycle if required.
• Be seen as the technical specialist for cloud products and advisor to the Technical Lead, customer and project team.
• Communicate regularly with the Technical Lead providing high level delivery updates.
• Follow a consistent approach within all projects whilst adhering to project governance.
• Be a go to trusted technical advisor for one or more of the disciplines highlighted above.
• Advise on candidate use cases for significant impact and suggest associated reusable solution assets.
• Form extensive relationships and networks with Cloud Lift peers, external delivery partners, project teams, and customers.

Requirements, Skills and Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in delivering Oracle solutions and transformation programmes ideally using cloud technologies.
• You have experience acting as a specialist, developer or similar with cloud solution design, development and delivery, functional and/or technical consulting, business consulting.
• You are a specialist in design frameworks in your respective domain/field and have a practical experience of implementing scoped technology architecture and reusable solution assets, which can be used across multiple industries and sectors.
• You are proficient in designing and developing Oracle cloud solutions
• You have strong verbal and written communications skills.
• You are educated to an undergraduate degree or greater level. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• You will be primarily required to deliver services remotely from your home and, while there may be some visits to an office or customer premises, we believe that these will be relatively rare for now. As nearly all your daily interactions will be on video conference, you will need a good internet connection.
