Job Summary

We presently have an opportunity for an Image and Video Creator, responsible for creating photography, video and social content (Photo & Video) with a strong focus to promote our products, within the Global Marketing team of Meyer. Responsibilities will include supporting visual marketing content development and execution of photography and video assets to be used in brand and marketing campaigns, retail, social media and online advertising.

You will support the Global Marketing team in creating compelling visuals and stories for our cookware brands, our cookware products, and content about food, product design, cooking techniques and recipes. In this role you will help to provide a wide variety of assets for e-commerce websites, social media platforms, as well as product packaging, retail collaterals e.g. POS at all our consumer touchpoints.

In this role, you will:

Generate new ideas and participate in creating, planning of marketing creative communication and content for brand and product storytelling for all campaign executions across our online and offline touchpoints including e-commerce websites, retail channels and social media. There is a strong focus on producing brand photography for both product and lifestyle imagery.

Proficiency with photo and video cameras, as well as the ability to use editing software is required. You should also be able to research and produce creative photographic and video materials of good quality. The ideal candidate should have attention for details especially in post-production and photo-editing, while also be able to work independently yet collaborative with other members of our creative team.

• Experience in creating interesting photography for marketing and social campaigns and ecommerce website;
• Ability to plan, shoot, edit, and produce high quality videos;
• Experience in photo studio set ups or have worked in a studio-environment is a must;
• Experience in video production will be an advantage
  (Including set-up and operating various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, rigging lighting, etc);
• Understanding how to optimize photography and videos for various platforms;
• Strong project-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects;
• A self-starter who works well within a team environment, yet is able to work independently;
• Experience or knowledge with animation and motion graphics is a plus.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Keen eye and passion for photography and video;
• An understanding or study in Photography / Video / Marketing / Digital Media;
• Creative self-starter with 1 to 2 years of shooting and editing experience in photography, video production & social media;
• Experience working in either an in-house digital agency or creative team environment is beneficial;
• Proficiency in key editing software programs, including: Lightroom, Photoshop, Premier or Final Cut, After Effects; Illustrator or Capture One is a plus;
• Experience in creating animated GIFs or other short form social content;
• Strong in visual storytelling;
• Detail-oriented and good time-management skills;
• Good command of the English language;
• A passion for food and design.
