Position Title: IT Compliance Manager

Position Overview:

The IT Compliance Manager will report to China Associate IT Director but will collaborate with regional IT compliance team. Specific collaboration should take place with internal audit, external audit, IT control owners to remediate audit findings and implement process improvements.

This role will oversee the day-to-day operations and key control points whilst managing the partnerships between internal technology team, outsourced service provider, all whilst analysis for process improvement.

Key responsibilities:

Risk and control management

• Form strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders to become a trusted owner/operator of compliance activities and controls
• Manage risks within the IT function and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness controls for day-to-day IT operations, where controls are deficient or missing take ownership for their remediation
• Work with regional IT compliance team, internal audit, external audit, Finance, HR and other stakeholders to ensure that control deficiencies are tracked and remediated within the timescales
• Ensure that IT control owners understand their role and how to perform their control activities to meet regulations, and that sufficient evidence is obtained to support audit requirements

Skill Requirements Essential

• Fluent in English
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Communication skills
• Working effectively in a matrix organization

Desired

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with the IT audit/compliance process and activities.
• Knowledge in SOX audit, China Cyber Security Law, GDPR and regulation requirements.
• Knowledge in IT Operations, e.g. Systems, Databases, IT application and IT infrastructure.
