Job Description
Senior Citizen Home Safety Association (SCHSA) is one of the most established social enterprises in Hong Kong with a self-funded operating model and charity status. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of the elderly by facilitating home-based living. We leverage technology to offer people-centric services through innovation. We provide 24/7 support through our Call and Care Service (「一線通平安鐘」服務), a call-based emergency assistance and personal care service designed for the elderly community in Hong Kong.
We look for talented and passionate individuals who are interested in combining the challenge of running real businesses with the satisfaction of delivering tangible social impact and direct community engagement. We are open to strong candidates who consider this as their second career.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical and desk side support services to users
Procure hardware and software services to fulfill users requirements
Perform system administration on IT infrastructure both in cloud and on-premises
Build and maintain inventory of infrastructure assets
Verify billing and invoices by vendors and service providers
Perform periodic monitoring and checking of systems
Requirement:
Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines with 2-3 years experience in IT technical support at a sizable organization
Experience in supporting an infrastructure built on Windows servers
Experience in supporting end users on issues related to IT
Familiarity with LAN/WAN architecture
Sound skills on majority of the following products and services: Windows Servers 2012/2016; Windows 7,10; Office 365, Windows Azure, ADFS; Use of Cloud services to deliver web services; Avaya phone system administration (optional but possession of skills on it would be an advantage)
Good problem trouble-shooting and solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
