The newest member of the Mercedes-Benz family in the Czech Republic is ready to support its global logistics network in the After-Sales section.

The globally active logistics-planning department with its headquarters in Germersheim is responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure for the dynamically growing logistics network. Using state-of-the-art processes and methods in the planning and implementation of our logistics locations, we ensure that all requirements for an efficient global parts supply to workshops and our customers are met.


Your new team is part of this global logistics planning and is responsible for the planning of the intralogistics and automation systems in our worldwide locations. In addition, it ensures the knowledge management of the department within the framework of global governance for worldwide deployment.


WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • In your new role, you will be responsible for IT security for the conveyor and facility equipment systems in our global warehouses.

  • Daily job includes IT specific risk analysis for all automated installations up to the end devices and for the digital building management systems in our global warehouse locations

  • Analysis of existing IT systems, identification of risks, and derivation of possible solutions to maintain IT security for the optimization projects in inventory

  • Ensuring IT security for new construction projects - definition of guidelines and implementation of planning bases, co-design of technical elaborations, creation of specifications in system design and selection of suitable components (software and hardware)

  • Preparation and execution of risk identification scans

  • Follow-up of measures and documentation

  • Monitoring and implementation of measures

WHAT WE APPRECIATE



  • Degree in IT, mechanical or industrial engineering or a comparable course of study

  • Experience in the field of automation technology or supply chain technologies

  • First knowledge/experience in the field of IT security

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • High analytical, conceptual and communicative competence

  • Ability and eagerness to work in team

  • Willingness to travel

  • Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic is required
