Job purpose:

The IT Risk Officer will perform the 2nd line of defense work in relation to the various IT risks, working closely with the Bank’s IT department. You will be expected to ensure that the IT Risk Policies are adequately applied within the Bank and carry out monitoring on various aspects of IT risks to ensure that they are being adequately managed. Your responsibilities will be:

·       Review the current IT processes, with regards to the IT risk management best practices and guideline to identify areas for improvement and follow up on their implementation.

·       Establish effective IT risk monitoring for periodic controls on IT risk management framework of the Bank.

·       Working closely with IT security staff to analyse IT risk incidents and events and propose corrective measures and ensure their implementation.

·       Prepare the relevant IT risk reports as per regulatory or internal requirements.

·       Participate in the implementation of new IT projects or IT regulatory requirements from the perspective of IT risks management. 

·       Review IT Risk Policies to ensure that they are adequate and in line with the best market practices and regulatory guidelines.

·       Provide support relating to other ad-hoc data analysis requests

Profile (Technical Skills):

• University graduate in Computer sciences or other relevant subjects
• At least 3 years of professional experience in similar positions, or in IT, or in audit of IT in the financial sector.
• Fluent in French or English, knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations relating to IT risks eg. CSSF requirements
• Relevant certification such as CISA, CISM or CISSP is an advantage
• Good IT skills such as SQL and VBA
