Mission & Purpose

This position is responsible for new IT-Projects, collecting business requirements and implementation of new technologies within the strategy of Audi China. You will work within an automotive environment and be responsible for designing and building scalable infrastructures and platforms. Collecting and processing of large amounts of structured and unstructured data as well as streaming Real Time data is an important part of your work.

Furthermore, this position is managing multiple, concurrent data related projects of varying complexity. It includes also being the interface between the business departments of Audi China, our Joint-Venture as well as the German headquarter. You will be responsible for early knowledge of technologies and trends in China with a potential impact on Audi to support and design the digitalization future of Audi.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Task 1: Data analytics Project management

• Communication with business and providing IT proposals and consulting service
• Selection and evaluation of vendor to derive a suitable solution for the project
• Providing IT consulting advice for business departments, and managing of 3rd-Party vendors
• Project management and satisfactory completion of medium-large IT projects in time, budget and quality.
• Developing processes for improved data capture to allow action to be taken and organizational changes as required to support technology requirements
• Build and Administrate instances and services in the cloud for Development, QA, and Production environments

Task 2: Audi China IT Big data Local support and coordination

• Build-up of big data center/data analytics platform for Audi China
• Locally coordinate and support projects for AUDI AG/VGC ITP
• IT evaluation and assessment for general data analytics tasks

Qualifications

Education Background

• Bachelor above in Computer Science or related fields like Software Engineering or other majors with strong IT related background

Professional Skills

• 5+ years’ experience as a project management role within international environment in the past

• Proven Project Management qualification and methods experience (e.g. ITIL, SEP, SCRUM, PMP)
• Good understanding in the area of data analytics and big data
• Experience with Hadoop framework & Big data architecture, HBase, Spark, etc.
• Excellent understanding of new technologies (e.g. Cloud, Web Services, Big Data, Mobile Apps, etc.)
• A proven ability to lead projects from start to finish, experience of delivering either Infrastructure or Application/Development related projects or both, managing multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously

Competence Requirements

• Proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Project will be an advantage

Language Skills

• English (advanced)
• Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency)
• German (will be a plus, but not mandatory)
