This position is for Connected Car you will be responsible for new IT-Projects in the context of connected car (MBB – Future ODP platform).

This position is collecting business requirements and implementation of new technologies and services within the connected car strategy of Audi China.

Design architecture of IT solutions to meet client requirements and deliver business benefits – provide technical direction and mentoring for all project resources.

It includes also being the interface between business departments of Audi China, the Joint-Venture as well as the German headquarter. Especially the alignment of requirements, information exchange and coordination of common activities with our partners in AUDI AG is an important and essential part of your job. You will be responsible for early knowledge of technology and technology related trends in China with a potential impact on Audi in order to support and design the digitalization future of Audi in China.

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

1. General:

• Responsible for the management and satisfactory completion of large projects in time, in budget and in quality
• Consulting of projects and business departments
• Managing of 3rd-Party vendors for IMS and AMS

2. Service and Integration Responsible:

• Planning and coordination of China specific requirements
• Support EE/Strategy department for concept design
• Communication between Integration team in Germany and local suppliers in China
• Definition of the testing strategy

3. SOP GoLive:

• MBB GoLive for SOPs. (Plan, coordinate and execute the Major Rollout of new Components / Services for Connected Car)
• Live Deployments Support (Support Integration Managers and SOP Responsibles in the process to bring Audi Connect Updates to the customers).

4. Infrastructure Responsible

• Responsible for the Setup new IT-infrastructure of the project environments in time, in budget and in quality

Necessary education:

Master degree in Computer Science or related fields like Software Engineering or other majors with strong IT related background

Professional Skills

• Essential previous experience of 5+ years in Connected Car Projects, knowledge about VW group environment (MBB etc.) is a plus.
• Desired previous experience of
• Business Analysis, Process Definition, Requirements Capture
• Architecture design and implementation of IT Systems
• Extensive experience of information management methodologies, techniques and technologies
• Experienced in cloud computing (e.g. Micro services, AWS, Azure, Converged Infrastructure) as well as virtualization and server technologies
• More than three years project management and methods experience (e.g. ITIL, SEP, SCRUM)
• Deep knowledge and understanding of architectural designs, IT building blocks, databases and SW development methods
• Familiar with major tools for agile development (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Background in applied programming will be a plus
• Proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Project, will be an advantage
