Mission & Main Tasks:

This position is responsible for new IT-Projects, collecting business requirements and implementation of new technologies within the strategy of Audi China.

Furthermore, this position is managing multiple, concurrent projects of varying complexity. It includes also being the interface between the business departments of Audi China, our Joint-Venture as well as the German headquarter. You will be responsible for early knowledge of technologies and trends in China with a potential impact on Audi to support and design the digitalization future of Audi.

Job Duties:

Task 1: Project management

• Communication with business and providing IT proposals and consulting service
• Selection and evaluation of vendor to derive a suitable solution for the project
• Providing IT consulting advice for business departments, and managing of 3rd-Party vendors
• Supporting the Design and implementation of processes and organizational changes as required to support technology requirements
• Project management and satisfactory completion of medium-large IT projects in time, budget and quality
• Reliable handover of IT-Systems from project phase to operation phase
• Be a part of governance to ensure feasibility and viability of any change control and monitor technical progress of the projects to support timescales

Task 2: Application management

• Production application rollout Project (system validation, license procurement and knowledge transferring to operation)
• IT Interface of IT key users to support them for IT topics (Coordination with ITP for storage demand management, IT issues escalation etc.)
• Lifecycle management for Applications, Planning IT and Application maintenance, License management

Task 3: Audi China IT local coordination and support

• Locally coordinate and support projects for AUDI AG
• IT evaluation and assessment and lead projects for 3rd party solutions, e.g car after-market box and other solutions from the market

Task 4: IT Digitalization activities support

• Integrating new technologies and digital solutions into Audi IT-Processes in accordance with AUDI and VW group standards
• Screening for new industry trends and technologies, documentation of it in a trend radar and transfer it into proof of concepts
• Networking with relevant technology companies, start-ups and the academic world

Qualifications:

Education:

• Master degree in Computer Science or related fields like Software Engineering or other majors with strong IT related background

Professional Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience as a project management role within international environment in the past
• Proven Project Management qualification and methods experience (e.g. ITIL, SEP, SCRUM, PMP)
• A proven ability to lead projects from start to finish, experience of delivering either Infrastructure or Application/Development related projects or both, managing multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously
• Excellent understanding of new technologies (e.g. Cloud, Web Services, Big Data, Mobile Apps, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Project will be an advantage

Language skills :

• English (advanced)
• Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency)
• German (will be a plus, but not mandatory)
