Overview

The applicant will act as a Senior Engineer/Analyst for multiple applications within Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) division of Deutsche Bank. Will be part of L3 teams for application fixes and development. He/She has to ensure that the application(s) adhere to the Bank’s IT Security Risk and Compliance requirements, the Technology Roadmap within DB and relevant Business plans. This role expects the person to be a hands on individual contributor and at the same time have some amount of experience in technology Project Management. The candidate should be conversant with Release Management processes. Should be able to independently analyze problem statements, drive and deliver solutions as appropriate in a proactive manner while ensuring that the relevant stake holders are aware of the overall project plans and deliverables. Ensure there is no slippage in meeting IT Risk, compliance and audit goals for the application, portfolio of applications. The right candidate for this role will have to play the role of an Application Owner (AO) and has to be in charge of a broad set of duties. On one hand an AO has a management responsibility for the set of applications within the portfolio. On the other hand, it also involves specific technical deliverables to enhance existing application components and at the same time roll out new functions as prioritized by the business users. He/She should have good understanding of hardware and other configuration aspects of the applications. The right candidate should be able to participate in discussions related to Architecture, Infrastructure, and other internal processes that can enhance the overall business value of these applications. Over and above this, he/she should be able to understand current Testing & development process and tools used.

Responsibility

? Be part of the L3 teams and be responsible for engineering deliveries associated with portfolio of applications. ? Lead Risk and compliance process for the set of application that he or she is the owner.

? Review and approve change management tasks.

? Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercise for the application.

? Manage Internal and external application audits and Audit issue remediation activities.

? Manage remediation of gaps in application lifecycle management activities such as Account recertification, remediation of Application configuration gaps etc

? Manage application related Risk and Compliance Evaluation tasks and resolution of gaps in this area.

? Respond to detailed administrative information by performing self- assessments of applications to comply with the IT Policies & Standards

? Manage any IT Security incidents that may occur in the application.

? Plan and Manage Application events and Database Events monitoring using Bank wide standard monitoring tools.

? Manage application & database capacity forecasting and monitoring.

? Plan for Application Hardware / Software / License upgrades or migration activities to align to the compliant platforms.

? Co-ordinate Essential Maintenance Change management process.

? Manage regular senior level collaborative meetings between vendor and IT ensure there are metrics across all KPIs to ensure performance management as well as review vendor SLA as local SRO

Requirement:

? Should have 10+ plus years in technology teams with at least 3 years of project management experience. ? Experience working in a Global Financial firm will be an added advantage.

? Good understanding of SDLC Tools: JAMA, JIRA, SONAR, VERCODE, TeamCity for CI, BitBucket, uDeploy for CD ALM etc..

? Ability to write high quality code according to DB standards.

? Excellent communication and influencing skills across various levels of stakeholders.

? Open minded and willing to learn business and technology

? Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple requirements

? Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders and also set expectation with clear milestones and target dates to achieve.
