The IT Project Manager is responsible for evaluating, planning and executing projects according to timeline and budgets. The role is to handle different kind of projects in different areas of the business by managing relationships and expectations as well as the quality throughout the lifecycle of the projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage any assigned projects under company’s New Retail strategy

• Ensure the business requirements are clear and signed off, before starting a project

• Visit work level operator to audit operational processes and needs

• Prepare system process flowcharts and draft detailed project plan

• Lead and manage procurement and tendering process for new project(s)

• Work with supplier to prepare system blueprint or equivalent requirement document(s)

• Use sound project methodologies to manage and control projects

• Manage software or service provider as per agreed deliverables and timeline

• Provide regular project update to line manager and key stakeholders

• Clearly communicate to relevant parties the intention of the project, progress, and risks

• Change management during project implementation

• Manage the budget if relevant

• Inform the steering committee about any critical situation in a timely manner

• Provide support to ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in computer engineer or computer science or related disciplines
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT projects
• Experiences in fashion retail industry would be good advantage
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure and take appropriate swift action for any urgent situation
• The role based in Hong Kong office, Occasional travelling is required
• Fluency in Mandarin and English
