Applications are invited for the following post in the Centre for Chinese Herbal Medicine Drug Development, which is located in the Hong Kong Science Park.

IT Officer (PR0101/20-21)
The appointee will provide technical support for the Centre and Clinics, including but not limited to following duties:
Job Duties:
- To set up the hardware (computer, iPad, video, access control cards) and software of IT-related systems, including installation, daily operation, maintenance and safety issue;
- To be responsible for website maintenance;
- To support different services and new development, including smart Centre services, clinics;
- To undertake any other duties as assigned; and
- The appointee is required to work at the Hong Kong Science Park, with frequent travel to Kowloon Tong campus and other clinics.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience;
- Strong knowledge of IT services and applications;
- Experience in using the following technologies are preferred:
- mobile IDE tools (React Native, Vue, Cordova)
- web standards (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax)
- programming languages (Java, Objective-C, Swift, Python)
- data integration/API (databases, Node.js, REST, JSON)
- application with large data structures using NoSQL (ELK, MongoDB)
- application of AI (chatbot, deep learning, Keras, TensorFlow)
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills;
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated, attentive to details and multi-task oriented; and
- Ability to work under tight schedule is essential and experience in similar service environment would be preferred.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
