Job Description:

Celestica is looking for a people focused IT leader to provide technical and business guidance to Celestica

Manufacturing and Operations teams.

You’ll assists in prioritization of these projects, ensures they are aligned to strategic objectives, technology principles, corporate policy and compliance and the investment delivers the maximum benefit to Celestica.

In your role, you will:

Build close relationships with Celestica’s Operations and SCM Teams to understand what IT capabilities they need to win.

Serve as a technology partner and advisor to Celestica’s Operations and SCM Teams on the range of IT capabilities, solutions, and services that can address their needs.

Qualify and help prioritize requirements and demands.

Influences stakeholders with regards to enabling technology, process simplification, risk and opportunities within the roadmap and project scope

Manages the roadmap portfolio of 5+ projects, 40+ resources, 3+ global enterprise platforms

Manage Celestica’s IT teams to analyze, design and deploy IT solutions that address our clients needs.

Be accountable for the completion of key project activities in collaboration with the IT Project Management Office, internal IT teams and vendors.

Other Responsibilities:

Make presentations to Operations and SCM teams

Identify technology trends to provide guidance to Celestica’s internal teams in the development of IT roadmaps: priority areas to develop IT capabilities to support Operations and SCM needs

Develop profiles: Summary of Operations and SCM IT needs, org structure and strategic priorities.

Create monthly IT updates and critical project updates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or College/Technical degree plus 7-10+ years of relevant experience

Travel: 80%. Regional and International travel is required. May be significant during certain times depending on customer or project requirements.

Functional & Technical Competencies:

Requirements gathering and documentation (Design Thinking experience is a plus).

Process Mapping (Value Stream Mapping experience is a plus).

Project Management.

Understanding of terms and concepts in discrete manufacturing operations, finance, supply chain and quality.

Knowledge in Electronics Manufacturing and Operations (operation terms and concepts), Production planning, Logistics and operational processes

Knowledge of tools in Supply Chain SAP suite including; Manufacturing, Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management and Quality

Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Architecture is a plus.

Leadership skills, ability to motivate people

Self-motivated, organized and able to meet deadlines
