Job Description
This specific job is primarily related to rollout and support of IT infrastructure, telecommunication, and other key IT services in Kohler Asia Pacific regions. The candidate must have English Language skills and should have a minimum of 5 years on IT infrastructure, telecommunication development or implementation. The candidate must be open to travel.
General Objective:
Implement, monitor and support IT infrastructure system following Kohler global standards.
Understand business requirements, initiate and lead projects to meet the requirements. Assist Corporate IT to implement IT projects locally. Provide maintenance support to responsible IT systems to ensure the system availability. Work as key member of APAC service desk team. Maintain relationship with internal customers and external resources. Investigate, study new technologies and provide recommendations to CIT APAC management team. Cooperate with Kohler corporate service operation team to implementation new function modular to continuously improve existing service now system and ensure system availability, stability, and scalability.
Functional Skills:
1. Lead regional or local minor projects, assist to implement global project. Control the projects in schedule, budget and meet the parameters agreed with business team.
2. Work with corporate IT to implement local & global infrastructure projects.
3. Follow & enforce global IT infrastructure standards and security policies
4. Prepare technical specifications, test criteria, project control and management reporting.
5. Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and standards documents
6. Provide daily maintenance and oncall support of infrastructure system
7. Assist in establishing and maintaining service level agreements with customers.
8. Establish and review capacity, utilization and other performance measures of production infrastructure system
9. Provide solution & process consulting in Asia Pacific infrastructure projects
10. Work as key member of APAC service desk, follow and enforce ITIL practice in daily service provision & support
11. Assist to make budget in related functional field and manage the usage.
12. Manage vendor in related functional field to ensure service is in line with Kohler standard.
Skills/Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years IT experience in infrastructure supporting;
- Proven track record of accomplishments in project work in one or more IT functional areas.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management processes, familiar with implementation & maintenance of IT incident/problem/change/release management
- Deep understanding of MS windows server and network device implementation and support
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Good command of written and spoken English
