Siemens is setting up a new Software Development Center in Aveiro targeting Intelligent Solutions for the future of Mobility. We want YOU to join our team in the capacity of:
IT-Engineer/Support
Your role
- Your primary role is to provide IT support to our teams in Germany and in the Center of Competence (CoC) Next Generation Mobility located in Aveiro
- This role requires close day-to-day collaboration with our business entities in Germany and particularly with our IT lead department in Hannover (GER)
Your tasks
- Prepare IT setup (Hardware and Software) for new colleagues
- Conduct the IT related onboarding process for new colleagues
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support: Fault analysis and problem solving mainly for user HW/SW but also related to infrastructure (network /server) and our comprehensive software landscape
- Handling of support requests and enquiries based on our ticket system
- Provide support to further advance our cloud-based hosting environment
- Installation and maintenance of Software in a productive Linux based environment
- Maintain IT assets at the CoC
Your profile
- Experienced IT professional with IT related qualification (e.g., University degree); track record of working in productive environments
- Self-starter mentality and the ability to work independently with high motivation to deliver diligent results
- Truly service oriented with excellent communication-, collaboration and team player skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); German is a plus
