Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Information Technology to join our team. The Director of Information Technology will lead a multinational work force of systems engineers, infrastructure engineers, project managers, security managers and technical support professionals in rolling-out and supporting global operations centers and an enterprise-level web application. The director will manage IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline and discharge. The director will coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations, and approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of information systems. In addition, the director will manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review. The director will implement IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. The director communicate regularly with executives, and serve as the liaison between the company, clients, vendors, and external agencies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Proven experience and success leading information technology teams and projects
• Demonstrate relevant experience in:
- Establishing IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures
- Assessing technology projects and applying the appropriate actions and resources need to efficiently satisfy requirements
- Managing day-to-day operations of a large information technology organization including resource planning, managing IT staff, facilitating team work and communication, and championing continuous improvement
- Implementing program/project management best-practices such as PMBOK standards across the life cycle of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Assessing, classifying and mitigating potential risks
- Managing contracts, delivery schedules, and evaluating performance of vendors and sub-contractors
- Identifying new business opportunities and taking measures to secure them
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
• Possess In-depth knowledge of physical and information security standards
• Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations

EDUCATION
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• Advanced technical or managerial credentials, such as PMP, CISM, preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Job is located in Beijing, China
• Office environment
• Some travel required (approximately 25%)
• Strong verbal and written English skills required
