As an IS Hosting Domain Service SME you will be responsible for supporting technical role for all the areas associated with Hosting Network Services, for Global Business Services in Beijing, China.

Reporting to the IS Infrastructure Team Leader, you will ensure delivery result for Hosting Network Services are optimized to improve customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Providing advisory and support for Hosting Network Service. Reviewing SLAs and service metrics to monitor quality of Hosting Network Services and initiating improvement actions to reach service level targets.
• Ensuring Hosting Network Services are compliant with IS policies, compliance, architecture standards and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines.
• Maintaining constant dialogue with ABB Service Delivery and Assurance and Service Design and Introduction teams to ensure Hosting Network Services are fit for customer needs
• Supporting Service Manager to manage assigned budget, if any. Effectively delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs.
• Ensuring satisfaction with IS services understanding their strategic/tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS services; all within the scope of responsibility as technical consultancy.
• Working with suppliers to ensure delivery, SLA and quality of Hosting Network Services is continuously improved.
• Maintaining constant dialogue with other service managers and IS domains functions to ensure alignment and integration with global IS domain strategy
• Supporting major incident and critical situation resolution. Providing input for any incident, change or project which has, or might have, a major impact on Hosting Network Services or associated solutions

Your background

• 5 year of data center network management experience within the relevant IS domain
• Experience to translate business requirements into technical
• Sound knowledge of TCP/IP networking in enterprise environments: switching, routing, traffic filtering, load balancing etc.
• Extensive hands-on experience of implementing and administering Cisco network solutions (Nexus switches, ASA firewalls)
• Hands-on experience of administering Checkpoint firewalls and F5 load balancers, practical experience in administering Cisco SDN solutions
• Experience in implementing/administering Data Centre network solutions would be an asset
• Fluency in spoken and written English
