As an IS Hosting Domain Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring, monitoring and improving capacity management service of IS Hosting Services as technical owner in global strategic datacenter in order to meet capacity management service level commitments, for Global Business Services in Beijing, China.

Reporting to the IS Infrastructure Team Leader, you will be providing advisory and support for all the areas associated with Hosting Capacity Management Services.

Your responsibilities

• Reviewing SLAs and service metrics to monitor quality of Hosting Capacity Management Services and initiating improvement actions to reach service level targets
• Ensuring delivery process for Hosting Capacity Management Services are optimized to improve customer satisfaction. Being responsible for handling escalations and customer complaints related to Hosting Capacity Management Service
• Ensures Hosting Capacity Management Services are compliant with IS policies, compliance, architecture standards and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines
• Maintaining constant dialogue with ABB Service Delivery and Assurance and Service Design and Introduction teams to ensure Hosting Capacity Management Services are fit for customer needs
• Supporting relevant HT Service Managers to manage assigned budget, effectively delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs. Participating in the definition of costs and schedules
• Ensuring satisfaction with IS services understanding their strategic/tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS services, all within the scope of responsibility as technical consultancy
• Maintaining constant dialogue with other service managers and IS domains functions to ensure alignment and integration with global IS domain strategy
• Supporting major incident and critical situation resolution. Must be consulting and providing input for any incident, change or project which has, or might have, a major impact on Hosting Capacity Management Services or associated solutions

Your background

• 5 years of IS experience within the relevant IS domain
• Strong IS developing and operations skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies
• Experience to translate business requirements into technical IS capabilities and solutions
• Experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Sound knowledge of IS technology
• Fluency in spoken and written English
