As an IS Application Engineer you will be responsible for the relevant IS/IT work in specific business domain, including developer team management, technical design, architecture management, project delivery and application support, in Motion Business Area in Beijing, China ensuring the specific domain roadmap and landscape are properly maintained.

Reporting to the IS Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for the application daily operation and support.

Your responsibilities

• Managing IS application revenant works in specific business domain (e.g., marketing and sales domain).
• Being responsible for the developer team management, including inertial and external resource
• Being responsible for the project management and delivery, including the general project management and supplier management
• Cooperating with relevant IS teams (e.g. business area IS team, country IS team) in specific areas. Ensuring the scrum/agile methodology implementation in daily work and Azure DevOps Service
• Ensuring the technical stack, architecture and system design can meet company policy roadmap and future strategies
• Promoting the new technology in IS and business team
• Communicating with business or stakeholders to keep abreast of their needs and experience concerns. Monitoring industry trends to find opportunities and modifying strategies
• Supporting external projects to business and customers. Maintaining system documents, site and other assists

Your background

• 5+ years of software development experience, technical management and developer team management with rich experiences in project management and delivery
• Sound knowledge in Microsoft .NET Framework (& .NET Core) & C#, web-based/mobile app technologies (e.g., React, React Native, HTML5, CSS) and experience working in agile environment
• Sound knowledge and rich experience for designing, implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing (Azure, Alibaba cloud)
• Knowledge of database (Microsoft SQL Server). Deep understanding of system development in cloud environments (Azure, Alibaba cloud), including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
• Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications)
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements
