• Complete and coordinate with Finance team to capture accounting and expense input data required for IFRS17 calculation and reporting
• Act as the IFRS17 Accounting Data Lead in overseeing input data activities for assigned markets
• Manage the effort of supporting data governance and compliance activities related to IFRS17 program
• Help design and drive change aligned with the Insurance Finance data agenda, including data architecture, visualisation, modelling, automation and innovation, with a specific focus on delivering data as a capability to execute all initiatives across Insurance Finance.
• Develop the future state finance data architecture for the new IFRS17 reporting standard effective from 2022
• Execute the data strategy through phased implementation yielding quick wins and immediate business value
• Define data tools and data models to be used, as well as the architecture used to support tools
• Manage appropriate governance to control delivery and ensure effective communication
• Support the Insurance Finance plan to optimise data infrastructure, support the data visualisation enhancement, Insurance modelling and development of robust core processes
• Work closely with RBWM and Group Finance, Group Insurance Finance COO, Group Insurance Chief Data Officer, and Analytics teams as required
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including Group level and at the individual country and market level, to maintain expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends
• Manage and develop standards to improve data quality and design effective controls within the IFRS17 data framework and reduce operational risks
• Work with other work streams to understand data dependencies, ways of improving data sourcing and reduce inefficiencies of data flow
  

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Business Administration, economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Solid years of working experience in Technology, Information Management, or Project Management within Insurance or Financial Services settings
• Solid experience in Insurance business lines, Insurance Finance and Finance Technologies is highly preferred
• Solid stakeholder management skills. Able to communicate internally and externally
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities
• Proven and demonstrable knowledge of best practice within Business Analysis standards, tooling and process
• Excellent team player, able to lead others into action, and with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Articulate in English
