Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUSINESS INSIGHT & DATA ANALYTICS INITIATIVES

  • Work with brand team and key functional teams to design e-commerce data analytics modelling and implement data analytics initiative projects to generate insights from data and apply to e-Commerce & eCRM for performance improvement and improve campaign effectiveness;
  • Responsible for E-Commerce & eCRM data collection, analysis and reporting, including EC&eCRM consumer insight, competitor benchmark, data driven innovations on E-Commerce and eCRM channel;
  • Provide business insight to brands and sr. management on EC & eCRM business performance and forecasting, helping to better integrate data analytics into E-Commerce & eCRM initiatives;
  • Understand, identify, analyze and share industry trends, innovation, best practices on e-commerce data analytics;
  • Evaluate new Data Analytics solutions with Brands and Support functions in co-ordination with e-commerce data analytics solution partners
  • On a case by case basis, help to monitor & optimize e-commerce data analytics investment

DATA MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE AND SYNERGIES

  • Define MHD China e-commerce data management guidelines and playbook of managing digital data assets (data from e-Commerce & eCRM);
  • Provide guidance and strategic inputs for digital media, social and content marketing programs through continual monitoring of data related initiatives and projects.
  • To optimize brands and support function data analytics resources in order to maximize Group synergies while preserving brand autonomy on day to day data usages. Manage governance of the function and animate it
  • Animate the Ecommerce/ eCRM community (regular workgroup)
  • Organize ad-hoc forum or sharing session to present E-Commerce/eCRM new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to management team inspiration in that regard
  • Drive cross-brands e-commerce related data analytics initiatives to put in place innovative solutions to find synergy opportunities and get scale of economy, with brands and key support functions
  • Drive key transformation EC data analytics projects as per top management direction

eCRM STRATEGIC AND TACTICAL PLAN DEVELOPMENT

  • Design effective recruitment program for the brand to attract more new customers in e-channels
  • Implement proper retention program to maintain current member’s loyalty in e-channels
  • Monthly EC & eCRM report and business intelligence analysis
  • Work with IT and agency for eCRM data maintenance and analysis with new POS system
  • Control eCRM budget and ensure effective ROI
  • Develop separate eCRM strategy and campaign for Key door
  • Develop and organize high value members’ engagements
  • Set up and maintain Omni-channel platform for new recruitment and e-members’ loyalty management

PROJECT MANAGEMENT / VENDOR SELECTION AND MANAGEMENT

  • Analyze e-business needs on data analytics and translate them into functional needs and then projects
  • Select with brand and functional teams to define the rights data solution and operating vendors.
  • Monitor properly brands or transverse data analytics projects:
  • Define proper scope and project organization with relevant functions to be involved.
  • Lead / Drive main projects (coordinate, define and follow-up next steps from each project members) or delegate to well identified project leader
  • Establish and track milestone, implement right decision making process involving key stakeholders & committee members.
  • Identify problems & issues timely in project implementation process, escalate to right level, and make proper proposals to address them.
  • Ensure project can be successfully delivered on time and within budget
  • Cooperate with Purchasing team:
  • on data analytics vendors’ selection and evaluation;
  • for data analytics vendor commercial negotiation, contract management, workforce requirement
  • Periodically report to track and evaluate vendor performance

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor degree is required.

Languages:

  • Fluent in spoken & written Mandarin & English.

Professional experience & know how:

  • 3-5 years brand marketing and digital marketing experience. Ideally in luxury environment or consumer goods environment, or at agencies.
  • 2-3 years experience in E-Commerce platform data bank i.e.天猫数据银行,策略中心,京东数坊,商智

Technical & management skills:

  • Good PC skills
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of digital communications and new medias
  • Good data analysis and project management skills
  • Familiar with 天猫数据银行,策略中心,京东数坊,商智

Personal & interpersonal skills:

  • Strong adaptability for growth and changes
  • Good Team player & Outgoing
