Working hours: 09:00-12:15 14:45-16:30, Monday to Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Giving well prepared engaging inquiry-based learning English lessons as a full-time kindergarten homeroom teacher.
2. Creating and maintaining an English language learning-friendly environment.
3. Participating in IB PYP curriculum development and professional development training for teachers.
4. Planning class schedule, lesson plans, preparing teaching materials and resources, reporting to superiors and parents in a timely and professional manner.
5. Observing and evaluating progress and development of children, recording their performance, following and adjusting flexible child-centered curriculum.
6. Assisting in daily life and safety management of children in the class, strictly implementing protocols.
7. Taking part in events, activities, marketing campaigns when needed.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Display the highest standards of professionalism and demonstrate excellence in class, a passion for maximizing students’ learning and skills development, a commitment to taking a full and active role in the organization;
• Native English speaker, from an English-speaking country;
• Bachelor degree or above and recognized teaching qualification;
• Two years' experience in teaching/training as a class teacher or teacher of inquiry-based program, and or English (early-childhood education background preferred);
• No criminal record;
• Good health, energetic, open-minded, nice and patient, love and feel comfortable staying with young children;
• Ready to work outdoors, feel comfortable around horses, water, in a relatively hot climate;
• Shows strong classroom and behavioral management skills and ability to teach mixed-age/level classes.
