Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure enough and qualified manpower for North China team by effective recruitment activities and staffing program in accordance with the company policy and procedure to support business growth.
- Ensure employees are highly competent and well developed by setting up orientation training program and developing & implementing suitable training courses and programs upon departmental needs of North China to meet business development strategy.
- Maintain a fair and competitive compensation and benefit system in North China by analysing the local labour market status and proposing constructive solutions & suggestions on C&B system modification and improvement to support organisational development.
- Support and involve in organization development in responsible team to improve the organization's capabilities and performance.
- Create and maintain a disciplined and harmonic environment and working relationship within North China team by designing and implementing proper HR activities and communication to increase employee’s morale and engagement.
- Lead HR & Admin team members in North China by monitoring, coaching and motivating them to ensure achievement of departmental targets with high efficiency.
- According to the requirement in the HSEQ management system, the holder of this position is defined as element owner for element <5 - Training> & <8 - Occupational health>.
Main Tasks
- Communicate with line managers in North China for recruitment needs, search and select effective manners to attract, recruit & retain suitable talents of open positions in accordance with recruitment budget & schedule.
- Implement training tasks and conduct training evaluation via smooth cooperation with HR training team by aligning with company training strategy, policy & procedure.
- Keep posted on local C&B and labour market survey, support HR C&B team to maintain fair, updated & competitive C&B structure and mechanism.
Manage employee communication activities & programs, facilitate improvement on employee relationship in North China, support company management team to create and maintain open, cooperative & harmony company culture, and strengthen penguin spirit in daily operation among employees.- Communicate closely and effectively with line managers in North China to clearly understand HR relative issue & situation, effectively communicate with target group with HR management sense and leadership, support departmental head to maintain a highly motivated and stable team.
Lead & organize employee communication & collaboration activities in North China, including but not limited to annual party, employees’ outing, team building, family day, etc., to strengthen cross functional communication and cooperation.- Manage North China HR & Adm. function’s budget and managerial cost; cooperate with HR team members to align with annual cost saving programs.
- Motivate, coach and supervise the team members to be proactive, and work independently to achieve job tasks and career development target.
- Maintain a safe, healthy and environment friendly working conditions in office and ensure all activities are fully compliant with Group HSEQ system and local HSE laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree of Human Resources or Managment related;
- 10 years of relevant working experience;
- Familiar with labour law and government regulations regarding employment;
- Fluent in both Oral & Written English.
- The position is for Jotun COSCO Marine Coatings ( Qingdao) Co., Ltd., and based in Qingdao. Jotun COSCO Marine Coatings (Hong Kong) ("JCMCHK") is a joint-venture company between COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Jotun A/S in Norway. It was established in 2005 and is dedicated in marine coatings business.
