We are looking for a high caliber and self-motivated person to work in partnership with the University stakeholders in support of the HR development and service needs in alignment with the University’s human capital strategies and goals. The role holder will play a key role in the development, review and implementation of HR-related policies/guidelines, programs and processes, and will serve as an HR functional specialist in areas related to talent acquisition, job evaluation of non-academic staff, salary surveys and data analytics for staff appointment, compensation and benefit, merit salary review and related programs. In addition, the appointee will also contribute to the delivery of a full spectrum of high quality and value-added human resources related service and internal HR consulting to the University community. The role holder will also oversee compliance with employment-related regulatory requirements and provide secretarial support to committee/working groups.
Applicants should have a good bachelor’s degree, preferably a higher degree, with relevant HR post-qualification experience either as a generalist or in designated HR functional areas. We expect the role holder to have a passion in people management, strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and a service-oriented mindset. The role holder should possess good organizational skills and demonstrated experience of successfully managing programs and/or projects. An excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and advanced proficiency with business applications such as Microsoft Office suite and human resources information system are essential. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
